Lifelong passions for horses coupled with the desire to promote the American Paint Horse industry have fueled Tommy and Judy Breedlove’s thriving breeding and showing operation on their Rutledge, Georgia farm. Married for over  twenty
years, both Tommy and Judy grew up riding. Tommy showed Shetland
ponies competitively as a child and ventured into the Quarter Horse
world as an adult. Judy waited until adulthood to ride competitively
and found her calling in hunters before joining Tommy in the Quarter
Horse arena. A vacation to the American Paint Horse Association World
Championship Show in Fort Worth, Texas, during the summer of 1997
changed the “color” of Breedlove Farms. On that trip Tommy purchased
his core stallion THINK IM HOT (by Hot Scotch Man and out of AQHA mare
Think of It) and the new World Champion Two Year Old Hunter Under
Saddle mare Valencia Sol. The next year under the guidance of Michelle
Pearson, Judy returned to Fort Worth and the World Show with Valencia
Sol and claimed the title of Novice Amateur Hunter Under Saddle World
Champion. Since then Judy has earned many circuits and futurity titles
aboard Ive Been Sent (APHA), Dirty Guns Asmokin (APHA), Sensational
Leaguer (AQHA), and Sweetys Super Model(APHA). Tommy and Judy have assembled a fine array of paint horses. Tommy enjoys the logistics of a large scale breeding operation as he actively oversees the broodmares and babies while Judy is an active participant in the training and showing of the farm’s horses. Breedlove Farms operates their APHA showstring out of the Rutledge facility under the management and training of Ben Young.
